As an outdoor/online/in person environmental educator, I'd love to come talk at your event!
Educating and inspiring people of all ages is my passion, and while I enjoy teaching about the environment and the hopeful future we can create over social media, my absolute favorite is to talk about nature with folks in person.

- Urban ecology - our interaction with nature in the city.
- Queer ecology - how the diversity of nature reflects human nature.
- Outdoor exploration - through foraging, journaling, mindfulness activities, scent and sight identification.
- Plant/insect/animal - connected ecosystems that include us human animals.
- Environmental history - past mistakes and the lessons we can learn from them to create a more hopeful future.
- Fire and flood ecology - how we can work more holistically and in balance with the nature around us.
- Climate change - how it influences all the above topics.
Locations:
- I'm based in Los Angeles, so Southern California trails are my most common location, including: Griffith Park, Elysian Park, the Los Angeles River, Kenneth Hahn Park, LA State Historic Park, Santa Monica Mountains, San Gabriel Mountains.
- Also available to travel! I've guided hikes and given talks in Joshua Tree, Yosemite National Park, San Diego, Orange County, the San Francisco Bay Area, and San Luis Obispo. Contact me and let's discuss other possibilities!
Rates:
- Corporate speaking rate: $500 per hour speaking engagement.
- Nonprofit speaking rate: offering a 50% discount.
- Private group hike: $15 per person, per hour, minimum 10 person group (or $150 per hour).
